Jerry E. and Jerry M have programs in April/

Program – Jerry S. slide show about gun fights in the early west. Very few were face to face like duling. which was glorified by Hollywood in 1950 and 1069’s TV shows Most were shot in the back. He spent time talking abou Wikd Bill Hickok, Jin Carwright, Luck Short, and Bat Masterson. Interesting information! Several questions followed.

April Programs – Jerry E. and Jerry M.

Program -Molly and Dana from Paws. They told us about their goals and future plans. They gave out handouts so we could get an idea of how much it takes to run PAWS. They have acquired the house next door which will house a Vet (intern) and dog kennels so they do not have to have a vet take the animals when they are not open. They are open Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturdays.They gave about 25 volunteers helping out.

Directors meeting will be after the regular meeting.

Program – Jerry S. introduced Ken Albert the Graus Harbor Treasurer. The treasurer is the ‘bank for the county’. He explained all the changes to the treasurer’s dept. They just completed some changes this morning. The changes are to make it much easer to navigate around to get the answers you are looking for and to cut down on the confusion you have been experiencing. Proptery tax statements will be mailed out March 16. Thanks to Ken for all that information.

The 22nd – zone meetng – looking for the next zone chairman.

Program – Mary – Remodel the Library project – lighting, sagging floor, doors, meeting room, more seating, whetherizing, new carpets, etc. Also talked about content in kids books and trespassing on the property.
