Program – Ben Winkleman. Bought the old swimming pool and started Grays Harbor Unders. Sports people use their products. The base material keeps the skin dry, the center section is insulation and the top layer keeps rain off. He also bought the Church of Nazzerine building which has several businesses in it. It has been named Hoquiam Grand Central building now. He did a demonstration of how the material worked and answered several questions. Check out ghunders.com

Program – Science fair top six projects were shown. After which we voted for the best.The best gets a $1,000.00 scholarship when they graduate.

Program – Ray introduce Brian Shay from the City. He told us about the timberworks project ( combined between Hoquiam and Aberdeen) flood project in the planning stages now, The Library renovation which needs more $$$ to do everything, and Timber harvest in which sales are coming up. New businesses in town = 2 new mobile gas stations which should open in the coming months, and the church next to the old swimming pool which will hold several shops. Lastly he answered several questions.

Science Fair students the 16th.
PROGRAM – Ray introduced Police Chief Jeff Meyers. He did a power point which included the in the police car computer readouts that displays all calles with a whole lot of information. He also went through the building of the new jail expansion addition for women. It is 28 x 28 and will hold 12 females (10 in the dorm room and 2 in the bad girl cell. After all is said and done the jail will hold 18 males and 12 females. Another outstanding program by the Chief.
