After boot camp he was deplpyed to Iraq where he lost both his legs to a IED. and a brain injury. He is working on being involved into the community. Program – Jerry S. introduced Christina Hawkins from Sea-Mar. She is the health educator for Grays Harbor. Sea-Mar was started in 1978 now and is 90 locations state wide. Currently there is one doctor for every 2.74 people in this county. Sea-Mar offers one building with all services in it. Sea-Mar is a community health center. It is a community based organization comminitted to providing quality comprehensive health, human and housing servuces to divers communities specializing services to Latinos. She also does classes on diabetes and pre-diabetes amoung a whole lot of other things.
