Program = Jack Strom introduce his granddaughter Molly Bold. She told us about the We Fish organization. It is a non-profit that supports the fishing industry. They are gaining members. Showplace Grays Harbor visited recently. It is a service organization who amongst other things, gives scholarships. Fishing is a huge part of the local economy. This was a update of what is going on with local fishing. GREAT PROGRAM!

Program – Paul Dean slide show of his latest trip. Romania. It was his 23rd trip with the healthcare ministers. It is a non-profit that has been for 31 years. Since they started over 600,000 glasses have been handed out. Besides pictures of Romania, there were pictures of some of the other places he went to. To go, a missionary would fill out a form on what is needed ( doctor, nurse, dentist and/or eye doctor) There are usually 8 to 10 members on a team. As we support him, this was wonderful information to see all that he does. What a great cause!

Fireworks stand repair – meet after meeting.

June 23 instellation party.

Program – Glen Thompson told us all about cranberry farming and history borrows road and Hogan road. 15 acres will give a family living. They grow on a small shrub. It costs about $100.00  an acre. We were shown several hand tools that are used in the operation. The little bush is planted in a 1 foot square. Sand needs to be added to the ground. Growing started in this area about 1890. Also shown were different was to harvest. They are shipped in containers of 1,000 lbs. Great information/
